Register for the 2025 Book Ball

Do you love socializing? Creating a team is an excellent way for you to help bring award-winning authors to Johnson County as part of the Library’s Authors at JCPL series.

As a team captain, you organize your own event. For example:

Get together with your book club for a Book Ball party.

Host a loungewear party with your family. Slippers optional; books required!

Meet with friends for coffee or tea at a local coffeehouse and read.

Reserve a public space at a JCPL Branch to meet and read with your team.
-
Create an online Facebook event and check in with your friends as they snuggle up.

Have team members stay home and read individually.

The team and the individual who donates the most will receive front-row seating at any 2025 Authors at JCPL events and a signed poster from one of the 2025 authors!
As a team captain, you will receive a commemorative Book Ball coaster as a gift. After you register, we will send it to your Branch, and you can pick it up.
How to Make Team Donations:

Team captains, make your personal donations as an individual and list your team’s name on the registration form.

Ask your team members to do the same.

You and your team members may submit payment by credit/debit card or check after the Book Ball.
To sign up for Team Bibli, register a child and donate $1 or more to support the Authors at JCPL series. Then, pick up a Team Bibli button at your JCPL Branch. It is something fun to wear on the day of the Book Ball.
On Saturday, February 22, watch "Storytime with Bibli" on JCPL’s Facebook page any time after noon.
One of Bibli's team members wins a door prize basket! The winner is announced at 2 p.m. on our Facebook page.
